AT&M
Established by the Central Iron & Steel Research Institute (CISRI), AT&M underwent a successful IPO on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2000. AT&M has been engaged in atomized powders for more than 40 years and provides the full range of powder manufacturing technology from open air gas-, vacuum gas-, conventional water- up to high pressure water atomization, which is particularly suitable for extra fine powders. The scope of powders covers Fe-, Ni- and Co-base alloys.
A projected expansion of the current capacity will enable AT&M to support the strong growth rates of the MIM-industry on a long term-basis..
Eurotungstene
Located in Grenoble, the birthplace of the Powder Metallurgy in
France, Eurotungstene has been specialized in the manufacturing
processes and usages of metallic powders for over 50 years.
Thanks to its know-how and the quality of its products and is now
recognized as a technological leader.
Eurotungstene has built a long history based on the quality of
its cobalt, tungsten, tungsten carbide and rhenium powders for
the markets of high density materials (HD-Alloys), electrical contacts
and cemented carbides and is also manufacturer of NEXT®, the
renowned first industrial ultra-fine pre-alloyed powder.
Being 100%
part of the French ERAMET group, a major player in the nickel-cobalt,
alloys and manganese industries, increases the strength and the
technical profile of the company.
Effective January 2, 2009, bmv has been appointed the exclusive
agent in Germany for sales of Eurotungstene’s products in
the spheres of Metal Injection Moulding (MIM), Rapid Tooling and
Rapid Prototyping as well as Direct Laser Sintering (DLS).
H.C. Starck Hermsdorf GmbH
H.C. Starck Specialty Materials Taicang/China
Ready-to-build-in components made of Tungsten Composite as well as Tungsten-Copper and Molybdenum-Copper composite materials for switching contacts for high- and medium voltage, heat sinks for passive thermal management and electrodes for erosive processing. The product portfolio also includes W-Cu nozzles for thermal spray processes.
Refractory Metal Components such as Molybdenum sheet and sintering boats for the use in MIM, Sinter and HIP.
Also, highly deagglomerated Molybdenum Powder with a purity of min 99,95% for advanced applications in MIM is available. The particle size is finer than 15 μ.
Hilderbrand & Cie Sa
Hilderbrand & Cie SA is head-quartered in Thônex just
outside Geneva/Switzerland and has produced precious metal powders
by gas atomization for over 20 years. Until 1999, these powders were
exclusively applied for Hilderbrand’s
own brazing pastes. With the growing market demand for precious metal
in powder form for other applications, such as Metal Injection Moulding
(MIM), Thermal Spraying, Press & Sinter Technology, Rapid Tooling
etc., further atomizing, classification and analytical equipment
have been added over time to increase both, technical capabilities
and capacities.
Hilderbrand is certified according to ISO 9002 since 1999.
In April 08, bmv became Hilderbrand’s official distributor
in Germany for precious metal powders applied by MIM, Thermal Spraying,
Rapid Tooling or other similar technologies.
AP&C Advanced Powders & Coatings
AP&C is a division of Raymor Industries and is manufacturer of Titanium and Ti-alloys. Due to their high purity, lowest oxygen contents and extraordinary spherical particle shape, the powders are dedicated to the use in MIM, rapid prototyping, HIP and Thermal spraying.
The specifics of the AP&C plasma atomization process, which starts from fine wire, lead to the distinctive homogeneous particle morphology. This provides outstanding and unique flowability for such fine powders.
AP&C is certified to ISO 9001:2008
Wall Colmonoy Ltd. UK
Wall Colmonoy, established in 1938, is an international materials engineering company with production sites in the U.S., Canada, U.K. and France. The company operates atomization facilities with different furnace sizes in the U.K. and in the U.S., for melting Ni-, Fe- and Co-base alloys and atomizing to powder under water, air and intert gas.
Today, Wall Colmonoy can be considered as the leading supplier of NiCrBSi-alloys for brazing applications.
